At a large school similar to the Jedi academy, I am studying to use the power of light. We are in a class watching 4 of our classmates undertake a test. They stand at the 4 outside corners of a pool on small platforms. Their task is to throw a rock into the pool and then throw a second rock into the pool so that it lands perfectly on top of the first. A guy from my group goes first and throws the rock to his left, then concentrating throws the second rock. The rock hits the water at exactly the same spot and slowly sinks down, however, the water movement from the first rock nudges it to the side so it comes to rest next to the first rock.
The teacher fails him, and the next student is up. This time a girl from an opposing group goes. I am standing very close to her side so I can see exactly as she tries to float the rock up using her power and then releases her power so the first rock drops directly below her. It works, but as she goes to drop the second rock she is distracted by a sunflower bursting through the concrete on her platform. She drops the rock randomly and it floats down landing far from the first stone. The teacher fails her, but she exclaims that someone cheated and made the flower grow. The teacher is sceptical and says it is highly unlikely that another student had enough power to make the sunflower grow. The girl then exclaims that the flower cut her. She holds up her palm, although while I was watching her a moment ago she dug her nail into her palm making it bleed.
A formal investigation will have to be made as to why the flower grew. I think it is most likely that some skilled magician from the past put it there, waiting to be triggered by a specific spell used in close proximity. The girl's levitation spell for the rock may have triggered it.
